The lives of two murderous mobsters, a boxer, a gangster, and his wife and two thugs are linked in four stories of violence and redemption.

Quentin Tarantino (stories), Roger Avary (stories) Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson) and Vincent Vega (John Travolta) are two murderers who want to search for a suitcase stolen from their employer, Chief Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames). Wallace also asked Vincent to bring his wife Mia (Uma Thurman) a few days later, when Wallace himself would be out of town. Butch Coolidge (Bruce Willis) is an older boxer who Wallace pays to lose a fight. The lives of these seemingly unrelated people are compounded by a series of funny, bizarre, and unannounced incidents.
