Leda is a middle-aged divorce dedicated to working as an English teacher and with two children. As her daughter leaves for Canada with her father, Leda awaits a time of loneliness and longing. Instead of getting a little confused, he feels liberated, as if his life has become easier and simpler. He decides to rest by the sea in a small coastal town in southern Italy. But after a few days of silence and stillness, things start to change threateningly. Leda meets a family whose cheeky presence proves uneasy, sometimes even threatening. When a small, seemingly insignificant event occurs, Leda is remembered for the difficult and unusual choices she made as a mother and the consequences for herself and her family. The seemingly calm story of the pleasant rediscovery of a woman will soon be the story of a wild conflict with an unresolved past.
