The world is shocked when a group of time travelers from 2051 arrive to deliver an urgent message: Thirty years later, humans are losing the world war against an alien alien species. The only hope for survival is for soldiers and civilians to be transported to the future from now on and join the war. Among those hired are high school teacher and family man Dan Forester (Chris Pratt). Dan decides to save the world for his young daughter and joins the brilliant scientist (Yvonne Strahovski) and his estranged father (Simmons) in a great desire to rewrite the fate of the planet.
